General Conditions for the Participation in the “Travian Tournament 2010/2011“

1. General Information / Term and Procedure of the Competition

(1) The “Travian Tournament 2010/2011” (hereinafter “Competition”) of Travian Games
GmbH (hereinafter „TRAVIAN“) is arranged by TRAVIAN and will take place online from
May 18th, 2011 until the first World Wonder has been built und upgraded to level 100
(hereinafter “the Term”).
(2) Participating in the Competition is free of charge and non-binding. Participants may
terminate their participation in the Competition at any time by sending an e-mail to
TRAVIAN(protest@traviangames.com).
(3) Participants have the chance to win various prices.

2. Specific Conditions for Participation

(1) Participants acknowledge and confirm these General Conditions of Participation by
participating in the Competition.
(2) Participation is restricted to persons from the age of eighteen (18) years on (at the time of
participating in the Competition) or younger persons acting with their legal guardian’s prior
consent. Employees of TRAVIAN and their relatives are excluded from participating in the
Competition.
(3) TRAVIAN reserves its right to disqualify and exclude participants from the Competition if
they attempt to manipulate or manipulate the procedures of participation, the websites of
TRAVIAN, the TRAVIAN system or the Competition or if they infringe these General
Conditions of Participation or the good morals or try in any other way to influence the
Competition in an unfair manner.
(4) The right to exercise legal recourse is excluded.

3. Determination and Notification of the Winners

(1) The Winners of the Competition will be determined by conditions laid out on
http://tournament.travian.com/tournament2/prizes. The prize is not transferable to third
parties. The prize will not be transferred to money.
(2) The Winners will be notified of their prize via e-mail and be asked for their postal address.
Winners understand that they have to provide their postal address in order to receive the prize.
After three failed attempts to deliver the prize, TRAVIAN reserves the right to omit further
attempts and request the Winner to retrieve the prize at TRAVIAN’s headquarter in Munich
(Germany) on his own costs.
(3) If a player is eligible for more than one prize, he will earn only the most valuable prize.
All of his remaining prizes will be drawn between players who have not won any prize.
(4) If, for any reason, import of the prizes or winning the prizes is not permitted by laws of the
country where the winner resides, the winner will receive the equivalent amount of his prize
in Credits.
(5) TRAVIAN does not assume any warranty with regard to the prizes. Likewise, TRAVIAN
assigns all legal warranty rights to the winner. The winner agrees to settle all warranty issues
in direct negotiations with the manufacturer / provider of the prize.

4. Data Protection and Privacy

(1) TRAVIAN treats personal data of participants strictly confidential according to the
effective and applicable provisions on data protection and privacy. For the purpose of this
Competition, personal data of participants will be collected, stored and processed as
determined in the following. In addition, the most recent Privacy Policy of TRAVIAN shall
apply.
(2) The data collected through the Survey will be made anonymous and used by TRAVIAN
for statistical purposes and for purposes of market and opinion research. Neither TRAVIAN
nor a third party will be able to link these data to a specific person.
(3) TRAVIAN collects, stores and processes the names and the e-mail addresses of
participants for the purpose of the Competition. The e-mail address provided by a participant
will only be used for this purpose, e.g. to inform a participant about his prize won, unless at
the time of collecting his data the participant provided his prior and express consent to use his
data for other purposes (e.g. to receive newsletters). The use of a participant’s name in order
to personally address him shall be included.
(4) Participants’ data shall only be used for the aforementioned purposes and to the described
extent, unless a participant has provided his exceeding prior and express consent for other
purposes and usage. Participants expressly consent to TRAVIAN collecting, storing and
processing their personal data by participating in the Competition. This consent may be
revoked by participants at any time vis-a-vis Travian Games GmbH, Wilhelm-
Wagenfeld-Straße 22, 80807 Munich, Germany, e-mail: protest@traviangames.com.
(5) Players agree that their user name, country and their achievements will be named on
http://tournament.travian.com including its subpages and on various internet forums.
