The following is in response to your recent inquiry and is applicable to the products in Appendix A.

ASTM F963-96A (EN71 Part 3) Consumer Safety Specification on Toy Safety

This product is formulated from ingredients whose chemistry excludes antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium,
chromium, lead, mercury, and selenium. However, like all synthetic and naturally occurring chemical
substances, raw materials as received from our suppliers may conceivably contain trace amounts of these
metals. We can therefore certify that this product meets the requirements specified in ASTM F-963-96a and
EN-71 Part 3, as listed in the below Table 1.

16 CFR 1303: Ban of Lead-Containing Paint & Certain Consumer Products

Based on the ASTM F-963-95 limit for lead, which is more restrictive than the 0.06% by weight limit in 16
CFR 1303, INX certifies that the ink products supplied to your facility comply with the Consumer Product
Safety Act for Total Lead Content as specified in 16 CFR 1303. INX random sampling provided to third-
party certified labs to analyze composite lead levels have consistently been either BDL (Below Detectable
Level) or < 10 ppm (mg/kg), which the laboratory states as typical background levels.

This certification releases INX International Ink Co. from any liability once the product has been removed
from its original packaging or has been handled in any manner that alters its original state. Please contact me
