notice and directions. 3. The AHCA National will be in Atlanta in 2012. It will be held at the Sheraton Gateway Atlanta
Hotel, beginning on Saturday, October 27 and ending on Wednesday, October 31. Thursday and Friday, November 1
and 2 are booked for regional specialties. The Carolina Afghan Hound Club will be on Saturday. It is anticipated that
Tara will hold a specialty on Thursday, however, the secretary has not received any notification from AHCA. The
Carolina Club received a letter. The Thursday – Friday dates are in conflict with a new four day Knoxville/Oak Ridge
Circuit. We will have to ask them to exclude Afghan Hounds those two days. If the all-breed clubs do not agree, the
AHCA could switch days and have the regional specialties on Monday and Tuesday and the National on Wednesday –
Friday. A national specialty does not have to seek permission from an all-breed club for conflicting dates. The AHCA will
contact the Tennessee all-breed clubs about excluding Afghan Hounds
.
Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 3:50 PM,
