OBJECTIVE
I am looking for a technically challenging position in computer services on Wind
ows/Vista and Macintosh systems and Point of Sale (POS) systems .
WORK EXPERIENCE
Summary: Managing AMJ Rescue Repair Company, Braintree/MA, providing contract I
T services across the Northeast I have implemented technology deployments and mi
grations, as well as updates for installed systems. I have installed and config
ured POS systems, wired & wireless networking with WEP/WPA security, and netwo
rked server infrastructures. I perform data recovery and/or virus removal, we
b and media design and development and supported MS Office infrastructure. Othe
r services include dual booting two or more OS's, removing spyware and updating
virus and anti-spyware protection software. I do critical updates . I re-buil
d PC’s, change out motherboards, RAM, add-in cards and hard drives. Perform data rec
overy with great success. I have worked with Macintosh, Windows and Vista opera
ting systems. Have done custom networks for homes and offices and collaboratin
g groups of professionals using Cisco, D-Link, Linksys equipment.
I provide personalized training for computer systems and software, including PDA
' s, laptops. desktop PC’s, printers and scanners. Install new software and OS’s. Config
ure user-level email, as well as Virtual Private Network email sites for corpora
tions.
I have traveled extensively as an independent computer IT consultant, working co
ntract jobs in 15 different states.
I am also a Professional Graphical Artist, and perform photo-restoration using A
dobe, Corel, and Gimp. Write Web Content using XHTML, java scripting and some s
erver scripting. I maintain six web sites including two e-commerce sites.
I am an HP-trained warranty repair technician for Plasma and High Def TV's as we
ll as other some other TV companies.
Recent Major Tasks:
2008:
Installed and networked upgraded PC's and UPS's for SAVA, a Rest Home Corporat
ion in PA, CT, and MA. Upgraded the servers, installed printers and software for
the entire hospital staff and executed the data migration.
Installed POS systems for several restaurants and Cingular cell phone centers, r
eplacing or updating POS drives and printers.
After performing site surveys, reconfigured networks, traced cat 5 cabling and r
epaired all failed access points.
Upgraded the ISP hard drives, & software in local Corporate McDonalds location
Installed PC’s and implemented network for the Cambridge Police Department.
Updated server H/W and S/W and POS registers in 2 DSW stores in Illinois traine
d in Ohio.
Installed LINKSYS 8-port routers with modems & networking in fifty Rite Aid sto
res across four states in New England.
Relocated all computers & and network hardware for Deutche Banc in Ma as part o
f a large team. Was Team PM brought on 8 people.
Repaired and re-installed MS Server 2003 for a major pharmaceutical company

2007:
Installed PC’s and security cameras at four locations in three states for Pearsen Ed
ucational Testing Co.
Replaced Servers in Boston Chicken Markets
Worked as a part of the team supporting the AARP Boston Convention, installing a
nd networking laptops, plasma tv's, and HP printers. Updated AARP web pages.
Installed fiber optic cabling inside interduct cabling connecting a new IFR and
terminating to the existing server. in Costco, Port Chester, NY.
Worked with a team installing 360 PC’s for the Timberlane (NH) school system connect
ing seven schools in four towns.
Installed 80 PC's & Laptops for the Navy ROTC Office in UNH, Dover NH
Installed over 150 computers with imaging for the Massachusetts Board of Higher
Education in Boston and Revere, MA.
As a field engineer, changed out the Dell Servers and updated the POS systems fo
r the Massachusetts Kentucky Fried Chicken chain.
Major systems update and network reconfiguration for the US Marine ROTC offices
at Fort Devens, MA.
De-Install 2 two ton Dell Blade Servers in Canton Ma & ship back to Dell
Chase Home Financial Server Project. De-commissioned five HP, IBM & Dell Server
s for CHF Services in 5 locations as part of a upgrade
Performed server upgrade, functional configuration and data migration from using
Unix scripts. Oracle 9i / IBM e Series Server Migration Project. Configured and
Active Voice Response hardware and software. Installed and configured two RAN
s and UPS units for Stop and Shop Super Market chain
