Objective
My objective is to find full time employment with a stable but growing medium to
large firm. I would like to use my skills and experience in sales and working w
ith people in this position. It is my hope and desire that my varied yet extensi
ve background will serve as proof of my willingness and ability to make things h

Experience
Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative 1976-1977
I sold to Hospitals, and met, developing relationships, and sold Doctors, throug
h informational selling, on prescribing our medications where relevant. Much res
ponsibility was given to us to make sure our products were used responsibly, as
they were mainly Psychotropic in nature.
Revlon, Inc. Senior sales Representative 1977-1980
I was responsible for selling in to major account chain Drug Stores such as Krog
er Sav-on, and several others including setting up promotional programs with adv
ertising and follow through.
Cheeseborough Ponds Senior Account Representative 1980-1984
I was responsible to sell and service large Accounts like Belks, J.C. Penny, cha
in drugs. I set up and followed major seasonal promotions. This was very excitin
g work and I was highly successful at it, always in the top 10% of my Division.
Tarmac America Sales Representative 1984-1994
I sold Ready Mixed Concrete to General contractors and concrete contractors. I w
as consistently in the top 15 in the country. I was able to sell high profile, e
xtremely large landmark type projects in Richmond.
Master Halco Account Manager 1994-1
999
I was responsible for selling Fence Materials to Fence Contractors and chain dru
g box stores like Lowes and Home Depot. During this time I was point on a projec
t that resulted in the largest single sale in the Virginia Market history up to
that point. It changed the entire market.
Hercules Fence, Inc. General Manager 1999-2006
I was responsible for overseeing the entire multi million dollar branch in Richm
ond for Hercules. I was responsible for all personnel including hiring, all equi
pment and inventory and bottom line P & L responsibility. I also sold, handling
the largest major accounts and jobs.. Always met yearly goals and objectives.
Fence City of Richmond General Manager 2006-2009
I was responsible for all company operations. I was brought in to relieve the ow
ner of the firm and take the entire burden of the company off of him and on to m
e. Company sold to larger company in Feb. 2009.
Education
Virginia Commonwealth University 1970-1975
I received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology. I had intent to secur
e my Masters degree but was cut short by marriage responsibilities and demands t
o go to work.
Personal
Have been married to the same woman for 37 years and have two successful childre
n, one graduated from a major university and the other a Senior in college in a
major University. We are stable and disciplined family. I personally love golf a
nd am a Referee in High School Football for 16 years.
Skills
My skill set is that I am extremely effective with people. Managing, selling to
and coordinating with people is my strongest skill and what sets me apart from m
any other people who are good technically, but lack relationship building skills
. I believe that relationships form the basis of a long term, successful persona
l and business partnerships that always yield excellence.
I am skilled in both platforms of computers and in the entire Microsoft Office S
uite of programs.
I am very experienced in Public speaking and presenting programs to large and sm
all groups.
