Introduction

As a teenager in Singapore, you should be aware that our government is

promoting aesthetics awareness through events like The Arts Festival to
enhance the level of appreciation of different cultures and forms of artistic
expression. In Singapore, we have museums like the Asian Civilization Museum,
Singapore Arts Museum, Singapore Philatelic Museum and the new ArtScience
Museum. They provide visitors with an insight into different forms of art like
historical artifacts, sculptures and paintings, as well as stamps from all over the
world.
