Overseen and planned many continuous improvement projects. Set up spare parts in
ventory, PM programs and service contracts for press shop equip.
As Ass. Dept. Leader responsible for all pressroom/ production activity and plan
ning of 180 associates. 5 - S lean implementation.
Brought pressroom efficiency from low 30% to mid 50% thru process. Continuous im
provements. Training of our press operators.
With this we reduced our work force by 1/3, increased our output and with improv
ements reduced our budget over 1 million dollars.
