Upgrade and assist heavily with maintenance of the Common Library Programs and F
iles of NASAs Clouds and Earths Radiant Energy System (CERES) Project at NASAs L
angley Research Center, Langley AFB,VA. The common library software mentioned ab
ove is used throughout the CERES project and is currently being upgraded from Fo
rtran 77/95 combination to C++ Language and from ADA to C++. Assist with develo
ping and testing of Inversion Software used on the CERES project. Also work wi
th programs that use versions 5 and 6 of the Hierarchical Data Format (HDF) as w
ell as netCDF; a set of file formats and libraries designed to store and organiz

uarters Assets that are deemed as critical to DoD. Made written assessments of D
atabases used by the J3 Sector of JFCOM as to their relevance to the Defense Cri
tical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) of JFCOM. Observed the Global Information Gr
id (GIG) Network on a daily basis and report any possible subversive activity, a
bnormalities or interruptions that could impact JFCOM to my superiors and made r

Maintained & upgraded programs for the Coast Guard Vessel Traffic Services (CGVT
S) System at the U.S. Coast Guard Base in Portsmouth, VA, using Java 1.5, Ant, O
racle SQL, Oracle 9i, Windows XP & Solaris Operating System. Upgraded & Maintain
ed Oracle 9i databases for both the Hawkeye & CGVTS Systems, also at the U.S. Co

Staff Programmer Analyst - Provided programming support for the Batch Team of th
e Relational Supply System (RSupply), an online client/server RDBMS developed fo
r the U.S. Navy. Wrote, modified, tested and debugged procedures, triggers and
embedded SQL programs in C Language and C++ as requested by RSupply Functional A
nalyst(s). Also provided programming support for the Asset Tracking Logistics an
d Supply System (ATLASS), an online client/server RDBMS developed for the U.S. M
arine Corps. ATLASS mirrors the structure of RSupply.

Programmer - Provided programming support for the Hazardous Materials Informatio
n System (HMIS), an online client/server RDBMS application developed by the Navy
for the Defense Logistics Agency. HMIS was written in VBA and Oracle SQL and u
sed an Access 2.0 GUI front end to manipulate data stored in an Oracle 7 databas
e. Analyzed software-trouble reports and when valid software deficiencies were
identified, performed problem-analysis and developed proposals for alternative s
oftware solutions. Used rapid-application development (RAD) methodologies in an
object-oriented programming environment to write, test, and debug software to r
educe time and improve efficiency.

Information Systems Specialist III - Designed, wrote and tested programs in MS A
ccess 2.0. Maintained a UNIX System as a System Administrator.

Lead Software Engineer - Responsible for re-engineering and software development
(analysis, design, coding, and unit test) of portions of the U.S. Armys Strateg
ic Theater Applications Command and Control System (STACCS) to incorporate it in

m (AGCCS). Wrote, tested and debugged programs for assigned Computer Software Co
nfiguration Items (CSCIs) and prepared all required program-level and user-level
