Reporting directly to the Executive VP - the primary responsibility of this pos
ition was to build a North American distributorship network and generate project
s using cradle to grave project management. New product development, annual sale
s forecast creation, introduction of pricing strategies, and the development of
new suppliers.
Liaise directly with, designers, engineers, general contractors and sub contrac
tors, to establish design intent, product viability and the successful supply an
d installation of the completed product.
Design, create and implement a product knowledge base for all aspects of the Gi

Reporting directly to the Executive VP - the Operations position provided addit
ional accountability for both the Giuliani and Iemca divisions in the areas of p
urchasing and quality, as well as operational responsibility.
Prepared the company to start assembling IEMCA machinery in North America. This
included but was not limited to transition plan creation, budgetary development
and control, plant design, equipment layout, quality system implementation, hir
ing management team, hiring service engineer team and factory personnel, new pro
duct and process implementation and the efficient supply of quality products on-
time.
Worked at corporate facility in Italy to develop a hands-on Bills of Materials
for 3 new machines to be assembled in North America.

During this period the Iemca products were being sold by a exclusive distributo
r in St. Louis and my responsibilities were to oversee the sales, service and ma
rketing of the distributor, identify areas to increase market share, develop a q
uarterly reporting process for continual improvement of all regional sales manag
ers and visit OEMs, Dealers and End Users to qualify their satisfaction of the s
ales/service experience.

rs. Previously Giuliani had been represented by a North American distributor (Co
sa Corporation).
Incorporated Giuliani USA as an independent company in the State of New York an

Reporting to the President I was initially accountable for the national sales o
f Gildemeister single spindle and multi spindle lathes.
Extensive product training (2 months) at Gildemeisters 2 plants in Germany & It
aly.
Personally sold the first Gildemeister GD 160 CNC machine in the USA.
Worked with and oversaw Cosa Corporations North American distributor network
Developed sequence of operations, cycle time studies, quotations and tooling de
sign for Gildemeister multi-spindle and single spindle lathes.
In 1983 Gildemeister then went independent in North America and I became the Na
tional Sales Manager for both the Escomatic and Giuliani product lines.
Extensive product training in Switzerland (Escomatic) and Italy (Giuliani)
Worked with and oversaw Cosa Corporations North American distributor network
Developed sequence of operations, cycle time studies and quotations for Escomat
ic and Giuliani.
Additional responsibility of managing the Escomatic machine shop personnel. Imp
roved existing processes.
Developed a successful machine re-build department to remove used Escomatic mac
hines from the marketplace.
