* As Project Architect I was responsible for the construction documents, code an
alysis and coordination with the various disciplines. I also prepared Addenda an
d Bulletins and worked with the contractors to resolve any problems. My most rec
ent time at URS was in the Healthcare Studio. Sample projects include:
* ODTC - Outpatient Diagnostic Treatment Center, Borgess Medical Center, Kalamaz
oo; 150,000 sf treatment center that incorporated a remodeled portion of the exi
sting hospital and a large addition. Project included Cath labs, Radiology labs,
Operating suites, Patient rooms and public and staff areas.
* Northern Michgan Hospital, Petoskey, Michigan; New Emergency Department and He
art Center with attached parking garage.
* Spectrum Health, Grand Rapids, Michigan; New and remodeled Emergency Departmen
t and new Pediatric Radiology Department.
* Methodist Hospital, Gary, Indiana; Various interior remodeling.

* As Project Architect I was responsible for the construction documents, code an
alysis and coordination with the various disciplines. While at Richard Postema I
worked on several small projects including the Riverwatch Hotel (not built), Sa
ugatuck, Michigan, Whitehall Inn, Whitehall, Michigan and several other smaller
additions and remodelings.

* Rockford High School - New high school for 2,400 students. The program consist
ed of 80 classrooms, auditorium, cafeteria, 3,600 seat gymnasium, 8 lane competi
tion pool and an 800 seat theatre. Total square footage 350,000
* River Rouge Middle and High School, River Rouge, Michigan - New 3 story academ
ic wing, including a media center, 700 seat auditorium, physical education compl
ex i.e. pool and gymnasium. Total square footage 240,000
* Mattawan High School, Mattawan, Michigan - New high school with a 2,000 seat g
ymnasium and a 600 seat performing arts center. Total square footage 172,000

performing arts center. Total square footage 90,000
* Kent Skills Technical Center, Grand Rapids, Michigan - Addition to the existin
g skills center providing classroom and support spaces for the instruction of te
chnology including desk top publishing, banking, computer drafting etc.
