I was hired for the project managers position by Schoon const ruction to
work a fiber to the home project for Colo telephone. My experience in
inspection and supervision was a good fit for this position. I handled
inventory,verification of fiber and duct footages,equipment installation,
tabbing for invoicing, fiber testing and worked closely with the resident
engineer and C.O. Manager. I work well with minimal supervision. I have good
decision and people skills. The project was finished on time with few
problems. This type of work has really caught my interest and I am
interested in being involved in a fairly new and interesting concept. I have
upgraded my certification in fiber optic installation to outside plant
technician with over 2000 splices.I also have worked on three other FTTx
projects and recently completed Light Brigade school FTTx and PON planning
and installation. Recently finished another fiber to the home project for
CML telephone in Larrabee Iowa 712-443-8222 Bruce Johnson MGR. OTDR test

I was on lay of from Schoon construction went to work for Kiamichi
prepping,splicing, testing fiber optics. Also installed cabinets in c.o.
patch panels spliced and otdr tested those, installed network interface
devices and power supplys on homes. Went to Denver to a light brigade school
and I am currently Electronic Technician Association certified in fiber
optic installation. Also have experience in cable locating.

INFORMATION: I have been to several short courses on supervision
,safety,smoked meats and sausage production (ISU) lock out tag out,cpr
,first aid,employee evaluation,smokehouse training,etc. I ave been involved
in a new project the last six month I had never done before.All of my 27
years of experience in supervisoion and management have been learned through
hard work and experience.
