I have over eighteen years of experience in the field of management and informat
ion technology (IT) consulting, including over fifteen years of experience in th
e implementation of various Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) packages like Ora
cle Applications and Avalon.
Presently, I am a Senior Business Leader at Visa, working closely with executive
s and senior leadership teams from Controllership, Finance Operations, Treasury,
Enterprise Planning & Analysis and various other business units on a Finance Tr
ansformation program to ensure standardizing, automating and enhancing finance p
rocesses globally.
Prior to joining Visa, I have worked in various management consulting organizati
ons, where I have been involved in a wide range of implementations and consultin
g assignments covering Program Management, Financial and Business Transformation
Strategy formulation and deployment, Financial Reporting and Data Migration str
ategies, and Application Management Services.
I hold a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of
Management, Bangalore, India and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Bomba
y University, India.

Senior Business Leader, Finance Internal Control
Responsibilities
1. Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance during the solution develop
ment process of the Finance Transformation program, a multi-year initiative at V
isa, to ensure all necessary tools, processes, procedures and staff is in place
to support a successful global deployment.
I have been involved right from the initiation of the Finance Transformation
Program including preparation and distribution of the Request for Proposal (RFP
), evaluating vendor response to the RFP and finalizing the vendor who will part
ner with Visa to provide us consulting services for this important initiative. W
e are now in the process of securing the required approval for funding this prog
ram.
2. Provide project management and business unit readiness coordination and leade
rship for the deployment of strategic initiatives in the Controller's organizati
on. Some of the key initiatives that I have been working on are:
a. Streamlining the quarterly SOX 302 Certification program. The Chief Execut
ive Officer ("CEO") and Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of Visa Inc. rely on thi
s program in making certifications required from each of them in connection with
the Company's quarterly report on Form 10-K
b. Gain consistency around the foreign exchange (FX) forecasting and manageme
nt reporting methodologies and formats across geographies and develop an action
plan to implement the finalized methodologies and formats
c. Work with tax, legal, contract management and Information Technology teams
to establish a new Legal Entity in Spain for processing all customer related co
ntracts for Visa's Latin American region
3. Develop resource management programs that contribute to acquisition, retentio
n, motivation and development of talent with a commitment to ongoing mentorship,
professional development and employee engagement
4. Financial analysis and reporting, including developing the annual budget, pro
viding monthly financial reporting and forecasting, capital spending and expendi
