Freightliner, Cleveland, NC
Set-up, load programs, and materials for a fanuc controlled CNC KOMO router and
5000 series multicam CNC router. Fabricated sidewalls, backwalls and custom modi
fications as needed and specified by blueprints and customer orders, for class 8
truck models. Performed routine maintenance, offset adjustments as required and
needed. Monitored tool wear and coolant levels. Performed assembly line duties
as needed, which intels the use of power tools, air drills, and the use of indus
trial chemicals and adhesives.
Carolina Ceramics, Columbia, SC
Robot/Setting operator, 2003-2004
Was responsible for daily operation and monitoring of automated 6 axis fanuc con
trolled, brick setting robotic and cutting machines. Mixed and cut brick to colo
r and size, using robotic arms to set brick onto train cars to be harden in a ki
ln. Had partial responsibility for maintenance of these machines, for example, c
hanging system setting parameters to enhance operation when needed.
Koyo Corperation, Blythewood, SC
CNC operator, 2002-2003
A automotive bearing manufacturer. Set-up and ran fanuc controlled CNC lathe and
milling machining centers, using x,y, and z axis in both incremental and absolu
te. Performed offsets and tool changes as required and needed. Edited programs a
s needed to insure quality parts. Also operated and made precision adjustments t
o CNC grinding centers. Operated 6 axis robotic arms including troubleshooting a
nd analysis. Performed quality checks using special functional and variable gaug
es reading in the measurement of microns. Reading and interpreting blue prints w
hich includes tolerances, tool type, gauge type and special applications.
Spirax Sarco, Blythewood, SC
Assembler/machine operator, 1999-2001
A manufacturer of steam and water operated products. Operated assembly equipment
operations from simple to complex. Tested products using steam pressure equipme
nt and fix discrepancies as needed. Operated drill press machinery using drill s
ize and depth applications. Used calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges, to fin
d thread pitch and size for pipe fitting to insure qaulity products. Also learne
d and helped CNC machinist perform specific duties and task as required.
SMI Joist, Cayce, SC
Machine operator/welder, 1996-1998
Measured, cut, and welded steel framework and structural foundations for commerc
