Self-Assessment Instrument
Dear Respondent,
Mabuhay!
One of the major thrusts of the country is to ensure that gender concerns are integrated in the development undertakings both at the national
and local levels. At the local level, this means making local government units’ services more responsive to women’s concerns, problems and issues
in their respective localities.
This GeRL Ka Ba? Self-Assessment aims to draw information on the current gender-responsive efforts and practices of your LGU. Results of the
Self-Assessment shall serve as one of the bases for your LGU in determining the status of GAD mainstreaming in your locality and in developing
the GAD Plan. These will also aid government agencies in developing technical assistance packages for your LGU. We therefore encourage you to
accomplish this Self-Assessment Instrument completely and accurately.
