Selected Professional Projects
2009 - 2010: Futures Trading.
1.October 2009 a" Present Futures Trader. I've started the journey of learning
Futures trading, with concentration on the Emini S&P 500 (ES). At this stage, I
am fluctuating between simulation and live accounts.
1997 a" June 2009: AT&T/Amdocs, Chicago IL. Developer, then Technical Lead, then
Senior Technical Team Lead. Led teams on a variety of projects and production r
eleases. Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Unix.

2.August 2008 a" June 2009 CAFE Transition (Java, JSP, EJB, JMS, Webservices, We
blogic, Unix). Led an offshore transition team to take ownership of a sophistica
ted web application (CAFE) used by AT&T customers to order services in the South
east region.
3.Feb 2008 a" July 2008 MWOG Monitor. (Java, Swing, MQ series, Sybase). Led a t
eam to create a monitoring tool for the MWOG application explained next. The too
l is used by production support to monitor the health of the system.
4.2007-2008 Midwest Order Generator-MWOG (Java, Eclipse, XML, MQ Series, CORBA,
CVS, UML, Sybase, Oracle). Led a team of 10 (5 onsite, 5 offshore) in designing
and implementing a Java sub-system in a distributed application to receive and
process electronic orders. Design areas include MQ Series, Java thread pools, Ja
va design patterns, Data Access Objects (DAOs), File access, Database, XML confi
guration files, CORBA interfaces.
5.2006-2007 Rapid Test Tool (Java, Google Web Toolkit - GWT). Led a team in desi
gning and partially implementing a web-based Rapid Test Tool that supports the c
reation, manipulation, execution, comparing, and analyzing results of test suite
s and test cases. My focus was implementation on the server side, but I did part
icipate in screen design discussion.
6.2005-2006 OrderViewer (J2EE, JSP, Java, XML, Tomcat). Led a team to design, im
plement, and support a web-based system that allows fast viewing of table and lo
g data of processed orders. This increased productivity of resolving testing def
ects, as well as tier 1 and tier 2 analysis by more than 50%.
7.2005 LogArchiver/LogAccessor (C++/Java/XML). Designed and participated in impl
ementing a system that archives huge log files, while reducing their sizes and p
roviding fast, real time access and search. This enabled the simulation of produ
ction environment, and improved vastly the quality of releases.
8.2004-2005 Enterprise Database (Java, MQ Series, CORBA). Participated in design
and implementation of an enterprise wide database validation system.
9.2002-2003 MQ Message Server (C++, MQ Series, CORBA). Led a team to design and
implement a message server to receive and dispatch messages via MQ Qs. The serve
r interacts with multiple clients in a distributed environment via CORBA.
10.1997 a" 2002 Table Driven Components of Distributed System (Sybase, Visual C+
+, XML, CORBA, MQ Series) - Led teams to develop and support multiple components
of a distributed order processing application. Employed table driven solutions
to implement rules in tables and reduce code manipulation.
1991-1996: DxR Development Group, Carbondale IL. Developer/Team Lead. Worked fr
om home, independently and as a team lead of three. C/C++, MFC, Supercard/Superc
ard Script for Macintosh.
Developed Following Tools:
11.Authoring Tool for Multimedia Titles. Developed an authoring tool for MS Wind
ows 3.1 to create multimedia educational titles. (C/C++, Windows API).
12.DOS Windowing Package. Developed this system to programmatically create windo
ws, buttons, text fields and other GUI elements in order to develop DOS versions
of Macintosh and Windows multimedia titles. (C++)
13.A graphics Package to draw shapes, import images, and print. (C++, MFC)
Developed Following Multimedia Titles:
14.ECG-on-Disk/CHD-on-Disk: Two educational titles for medical professionals.
Macintosh version using Supercard/Supercard Script.
Windows version using above Windows Authoring tool.
DOS version using above DOS windowing system.
15.DxR clinic for DOS: a sophisticated application that simulates clinical activ
ities such as interview with patient, ordering lab tests, and developing diagnos
is.
