Global Vision Eyewear Byron Center, MI
Created MySpace and FaceBook pages for Global Vision Eyewear. These pages provid
e up to date information to our customers who have these types of accounts and g
enerate new traffic to Global Vision's main website.
Created two Blogs, one for Global Vision Eyewear and one for Avis Safety Glasses
using Word Press. I am responsible for creating copy and adding images to keep
the Blogs up to date with news and current events as needed.
Working with the Art Director we created two Web catalogs for Avis Safety and Av
is Safety Products using Dreamweaver, CSS, SSI, PHP and MySQL.
With the help of the Art Director we reworked Global Vision Eyewear, a 500-page
web site using Dreamweaver, CSS, SSI, PHP and MySQL. This including securing web
hosting, utilizing a testing server and writing copy. I achieved #1 organic sea
rch results for our keyword phrases on Google, Yahoo and MSN. Working with trans
lator we created a Spanish version of the site.
Provide assurance and upkeep for the network and telephone systems for Global Vi
sion Eyewear. Adding users, computers and other needed peripherals. I am respons
ible for monitoring and maintenance of the server and telephone system for optim
al performance. Monitor and confirm daily and weekly back ups.
Trouble shoot all computer problems and provide help desk services for 15 employ
ees including computers, printers, routers, wireless, and all other related comp
uter peripherals.
Research, compare, and purchase all IT related hardware and materials for Global
Vision Eyewear. Also recommend computers and related peripherals to businesses,
customers, family and friends.
Miscellaneous responsibilities include USPS mailing and email lists, obtaining
trademarks via USPTO website, cook lunch and special events for the Global Visio
n Eyewear, photography and image optimization, attend event and shows around the
country and any other job that will help get the job done.
