DIRECTOR, TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS
Responsible for private fleet of owned tractors and refrigerated trailers. Pla
nned and implemented delivery route schedules in conjunction with warehouse and
manpower requirements. Handled all recruiting, training, discipline and termina
tions of both unionized drivers and departmental staff. Operated within all gov
ernment rules and regulations. Department employed 15 staff, 10 mechanics and 2
12 union drivers and driver helpers.
- Met budgetary goals and service expectations every fiscal year since 1995. De
partment had a $24M/year operating budget.
- Added Donatos, Fazolias, Panera Bread, Tim Hortonas and Cold Stone Creamery ac
counts, tripling the amount of business within a nine year period.

warehousemen.
- Promoted from position of Distribution Center Manager in 1992. Given total re
sponsibility of cost and service performance levels.
- Exceeded budgetary goal and service expectations in every fiscal year since 19
86. Facility had a $12M/year operating budget.
- Increased customer base from four customers to 11, doubling the amount of busi
ness in eight years.
