de Dalcis , ville de Lydie, florissait sous An tonin - le -pieux. On a de lui un
traité des
songes et de chiromancie , matière qu'il avait beaucoup étudiée. Son ouvrage offre
des traits d'érudition qui lui ont acquis une
grande célébrité. Un savant chiromancien
s'est emparé de ses ouvrages , et il les a
commentés et augmentés dans un livre qu'il
a publié sous le titre : LA PRESCIENCE OU GRANDE INTERPRÉTATION DES SONGES , des
rêves et des visions. Traité curieux extrait de tous les ouvrages des anciens et
des mo dernes qui se sont adonnés à l'étude de la philosophie et à l'explication
des sciences
occultes , suivi d'un traité de phrénologie
et de chiromancia. ( *)
