The following is visual. My design experience is with all aspects. I am Barb Reisinger. A goal is to provide a positive investment fo r a progressive and professional HVAC, Construction, General Contractor and / or Architectural firm. This investment will always have your firm and client in mi nd and to deliver my most accurate work and effort with an interior comfort desi gn. I desire a design position with a team that takes a project from the job con cept to job completion. Involvement with all aspects of a residential or commerc ial building design. An accepting company will receive an accepting team member. As a team member, a smile for the team continues a positive thought pattern for the client. An investment for you is also a major investment for myself. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE PROVIDED FOR YOUR FIRM 1985 to Present Designer of Engineering Systems. This involves an air comfort system design for residential and commercial projec ts. Any design process begins by visualizing a 3D view. The present position de tails a project process for comfort of all clients. It is specialized, yet all t hat is provided to the present firm shows attention to detail. The present job includes: - Building heating and cooling with heat loss / heat gain calculations that will lead to: - Sizing and selection of heating, cooling, air movement and filtering equipment with the client needs in first consideration. This begins with visualization of air in 3D. - Ducting design based upon air circulation needs, comfort levels and constructi on locations for standard systems. Working with the contractors and clients duri ng installation. - Application of state and local building codes for HVAC calculation, design and submittal. - All AutoCAD drawings required for any project from the beginning concept to th e final "as built" drawings for the owner and WI Safety and Building. Providing completed plans to the client will provide them with a reason to return to your company for future needs. - Light commercial project design including offices, strip malls, and small rest aurants.- Assistance for the company consultant and WI Designer of Engineering S ystems for large commercial and industrial HVAC projects in manufacturing and pr ocess plants for national companies. A team design method continues a thought pa ttern for any design. - Project designs and explanation of the positive results and answers to clients . Present position also involves unique concepts of HVAC: combination air and fl oor heating/tempering utilizing hot water; geothermal energy; and wood heat stor age. With a unique HVAC system, investigation for best equipment is necessary. A ll clients and companies are unique. - Completion checkout with project and construction manager for the installation and operation. - Client equipment manuals are presented to the owner upon completion. - Providing estimating and bidding of pre-designed projects. - Comparing prices and ordering of specialized materials. - Attending project construction meetings for corresponding work with all contra ctors. EDUCATION Bachelor of Fine Arts Colorado State University Fort Collins, CO Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Interior Design, 1982. This degree concentrated on spatial relationships with concepts being displayed through vis uals, floor plans and 3D views. It provided a basis for the past 20 years of des ign work. WI DESIGNER OF ENGINEERING SYSTEMS 2001 Wisconsin certification allows submittal of any HVAC plan for all projects regar dless of size, use and design. Submittals require full heat loss/gain and air mo vement calculations with floor plans, cross sections, and necessary detail drawi ngs. Upon completion of project, the HVAC designer must submit a signed completi on statement and plan modifications to WI Safety and Buildings. Full knowledge o f WI HVAC codes is required. HVAC EDUCATION 1985 + College of Engineering University of Wisconsin - AutoCAD program courses with concentrations in 2-D use. - Various courses in WI Design of Air Systems for Commercial Buildings - WI Safety and Building code courses each year from 1985 to present. - HVAC manufacturer's courses for new equipment, comfort concepts, and sales met hods. KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS - AutoCAD 14, 3.3, 2002, '06LT - Windows 98; Excel; Print Shop 11 and 15 for company advertising needs. - The "Elite" program for residential and commercial HVAC construction loads, du ct sizing, psychometrics, equipment selection and fuel cost comparisons. The pro gram utilizes the ACCA "Manual J" and "Manual N". Presenting the HVAC calculatio ns to the client provides a confidence for the client that they have chosen the best company available. PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT 1985 - 2009: Two heating and air-conditioning companies, in WI and WY. Detailed description of work above. Please contact me for references. Local company has changed hands. Wyoming position ended due to lack of work. Previous professional employment of 1980-1985 in Fort Collins, CO included inter ior design and sales for two carpet companies; and architectural drafting with i nteriors for general contractors of residential and light commercial projects.
