Dear Human Resource Department,

My name is William Terrall, and I would like your company to consider my qu

alifications to be employed, contributing to their global growth in Wind Power.
The presentation of skills required of a Field Engineer Technician are cont
ained within experience I have in the wind energy field as a Technician and Mana
ger for Commissioning Clipper Turbines for the last 2.5 years. Beyond these skil
ls I bring many other attributes to the WTG arena.
I have worked with Engineers in the field and the office, gathering data, a
nd analyzing defects. I have developed work procedures with documentation, using
collaborations with engineers to carry out complex repair-processes for normal
Turbine Productions or the unusual situational fix.
I possess the skills leading to independent fault analysis and elimination,
with the ability of proactive thinking to direct an efficient and safe protocol
to accomplish the job in the field.
I have a reputation with Clipper Windpower and Turn Energy Maintenance of s
uccessful commissioning of WTG's, de-commissioned crane directed WTG repairs, re
tros, training and implementing O&M Technician Protocol, and providing technical
expertise to service personnel and manufacturers.
I am well versed in many different module software update and verification syste
ms for WTG's.
I have created Installation Technical Manuals, Commissioning Manuals and ha
ve compiled and taught other Technician's instruction for training purposes. I h
ave the abilities to work with Engineering to prepare and distribute updated tec
hnical documentation to Service Technicians.
I have served on site as a Quality Assurance Inspector, Electrical/ Mechani
cal Inspector, and Technical Field Manager confirming verification of all electr
ical and mechanical turbine safety protection devices, corresponding to WTG and
site specific safety procedures, ensuring warranty protections for sign-off to t
he Customer.
I execute performance tests for Commissioning and WTG Field Troubleshooting
, including all documentation of performances and overall functionality of WTG.
I have a Proven Ability to ensure that WTG tasks are performed with attention to
the highest quality, efficiency, safety and within the allocated time frame for
all Crews I lead.
I do possess a very strong ability to work in a team environment, to lead,
motivate and train other service technicians on proper procedures and troublesho
oting techniques.
I have developed safety training, manuals, ISO 9000; ISO 14000; OHSAS 18000
Guidelines and Protocol for Field Services for Turn Energy Maintenance and Clip
per Windpower with directives to follow all safety policies, procedures, instruc
tions, and guidelines.
The experience I have listed here is only a small part of my story, I ask y
ou to consider my qualifications as a good fit for the open positions of Field
Engineering Tech. I look forward to providing you with the Expertise needed to e
xcel now and in the future with constuction and the maintenance of their Large-S
cale Wind Turbines.
Thank you for your consideration of my Qualifications,
