stics (OSD), for the Opteva product line. Developed software using Microsoft Vi
sual Studio C# .NET using object-oriented programming and agile / iterative soft
ware development.
* Designed and developed diagnostic software to be extensible so that developers
in other locations could add devices to the product without core software chang
es. Product grew from 17 devices supported in 2003 to 47 devices in 2010.
* Designed and developed user interface and core toolkit libraries for the diagn
ostic software.
* Coordinated the development and integration of device diagnostics from develop
ers in 5 international locations (Ohio, Brazil, China, Italy and Belgium).
* Released 39 versions of the "end-customer" and "Diebold technician" variations
of the product.
* Developed guideline documents that allowed developers around the world to crea
te diagnostics for specific devices and integrate them into the main diagnostic
product with minimal guidance.
* Designed and implemented interfaces to an encrypted documentation CD from devi
ce tests to allow the user to immediately access in-depth information about the
device while testing.
* Designed launch of the diagnostic software from a secure encrypted USB drive.
* Led the project to translate the diagnostic software into 6 languages: Simplif

* Worked with the technicians in the field to identify specific areas to improve
the product.
* Supported programmers on other teams with the development of transaction-based
device software. Identified and fixed a timing problem in their software by wr
