In the past twenty eight years I have worked in the criminal
justice field, in several
Areas. I spent 24 and a half years with Philadelphia Police
Department in the ranks
of Patrol Officer, Detective and Sergeant. I then joined the
University of
Pennsylvania Police Department and served in the ranks of Pa
trol Officer and
Sergeant for three plus years. I then spent a short time at
Methodist Hospital as a
guard, and lastly, I am a Shift manager at St. Josephas Univ
ersity.
Education:
I am presently enrolled in the Masteras of Science Homeland Secu
rity program at St.
Josephas University.

In these positions, I patrolled the east, wes
t, north, northwest, and south
Sections of Philadelphia for crime and crimin
al activity. I also rode on
motorcycle patrol, and expressway patrol for
egregious traffic violators and
auto accidents on Interstate 95 and the Schuy
kill Expressway, while in the
Highway Patrol Unit.
1990-2000 Detective, Northeast and North Detective Divisions, A
lcohol, Tobacco and

Fraud Investigation Unit. In these positions
I did various investigations,
interviewed complainants and interrogated sus
pects. I also processed crime

While in Northeast Detective Division, I also
spent six years in the Special
Investigations Unit, investigating large scal
e burglary and robbery patterns.
I also served as team leader for the warrant
enforcement unit for two years,
where I prepared several search and arrest wa
rrants. I then spent two years
in the fraud enforcement unit, investigating
white collar crimes, such as,
identity theft. Lastly, I spent one year with
Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms

April to August 2006 Parking Enforcement Manager of West Chester
Borough
In this position, I was tasked
with attending to every aspect of
parking enforcement in the Bor
ough of West Chester, including,
preparing daily assignments fo
r the enforcement officers, meeting
with borough Council and the m
ayor of west Chester. I also
met with the Chief of Police a
nd the Chief of West Chester
University. Lastly, I fielded
complaints by investigation and
talking to complaining parties
.
2006-2009 University Of Pennsylvania Police Department (Patrol Of

In the position of patrol officer I patrolled t
he University city Area for crime
and criminal activity. As a Sergeant, I supervi
sed about 14 officers in their
everyday activities regarding the laws of Penns
ylvania, Philadelphia and the
rules of University of Pennsylvania Police Depa
rtment. I also fielded
complaints from citizens on both officer issues
and University issues.
2009-Present Saint Josephas University (Supervisor / Shift Manager
)
As a supervisor I prepared assignment sheets
, spoke to members of the
campus community about criminal and civil is
sues, and supervised about
ten officers in their everyday activities. A
s a Shift manger, in addition to
the duties of a supervisor, I overlook the e
ntire 3 x 11 shift and their daily
issues on and around the campus.
