Responsible for all multi location (maquiladora) logistics operations. Hands-on
team builder in all warehousing areas, including receiving, warehousing, shi
pping, transportation, kitting and light manufacturing/rework scheduling. Monit

with Supply Chain management overseeing import/export compliance from Asia. I

Restructure warehouse and develop additional new warehouse layout, emphasize em
ployee cross-training , and altered sales ticket sort formatting to improve oper
ational functionality resulting in net warehouse staff reductions of more than 5
0% since start date.
Implemented Physical Inventory and aggressive cycle counting program resulting i
n net inventory accuracy of 99.9%. Implemented stock rotation and batch control
systems to minimize obsolescence. Worked with Supply Chain Management to meet i
nventory deadlines to minimize inventory investment.
Reduced disparate carriers into 2 primary LTL and one primary small package ser
vice, creating mutual value relationship resulting in negotiated 30% base fees
reduction (excluding FSC).
