Creative client solution added two generations of revenue streams for
Toshiba, past contract term. Major client desired continued use of
fully depreciated Toshiba-owned assets. Financing source wanted assets
removed from their books upon maturation of lease portfolio.
Negotiated contract renewal with client, and designed and automated
financing terms. Toshiba received two-year high-percentage revenue
stream on fully depreciated assets. After two-year period brokered
assets to used equipment broker, obtaining additional revenue stream.
Won $15M contract renewal by developing asset removal process, saving
Toshiba clients time and penalties. Third-party financing source
required customers to return assets at contract end at their time and
expense. Worked with each financing partner to contract with partner's
repossession transportation company for asset removal. Removal
proceeded on time and at negotiated rates. Gained customer
satisfaction by eliminating penalty situations, winning repeat
business and client loyalty.
