Analysis done on: Blood, Urine, Feces, Skin Scrapings, Body Fluids (Hematology,
Urinalysis, Blood- Chemistry, Parasitology, Microbiology and Cytology). Instrum
ents used Abaxis HM2 and HM5, Chemistry analyzers - VetTest and VetLite. Setup
labs equipment, instruments and materials used in performing scheduled tests and
assist Professors in student laboratory work. As hematology lab assistant I se
t up and demonstrated each testing procedure and guided students in understandin
g assigned materials. The same was done for Parasitology, Urinalysis and Microb
iology.
Work done on CRP (Carbon Reactive Protein in K9), Dengue ELISA test, compiled la
boratory SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and MSDS (Material Safety Data She
ets).
Work done using PCR -Polymerase Chain Reaction- focused on the Conventional Meth
od - DNA extraction and amplification, using various primers. Made 1% - 4% gels
for electrophoresis - Instrument -
Thermocycler.
