Jagriti Sewa Sansthan is an NGO, based out of Gorakhpur, working actively in field of vocational
training. Jagriti Yatra is a national project organised by the Jagriti Sewa Sansthan to promote
Enterprise Led Development. This project (currently in the form of a Train Journey) seeks to take
approximately 300-400 youth from across India on an experiential journey across the country to
‘awaken the entrepreneurial spirit’.

Jagriti Yatra as a project and Jagriti as an institution seek to target the 600 million ‘middle of the
diamond’ Indian population to motivate them through enterprise and entrepreneurship. It is
primarily focused on youth, with a particular focus on women enterprise. It also seeks to create a
network of enterprise institutions – Jagriti Enterprise Institute, which allows local entrepreneurs to
find guidance and coaching on a local basis for creating Enterprise Led Development at the grass
roots.

Jagriti, as its second horizon, is embarking upon a new project – Jagriti Enterprise Network (JEN)
– which aims to be a platform to connect, collaborate and create enterprises.

Jagriti seeks an intern, for approximately two months, to assemble, manage and package all its
collaterals – videos, audio, images, and other intellectual property – and work closely with the JEN
website team in order to present on the website.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collecting all the collaterals – videos, audio, images and other intellectual property –
related to Jagriti Yatra
• Storing them on a local system and categorizing them as per some pre-defined criteria
• Creating a lucid and easy to access system of storing the collaterals
• Packaging the collaterals to be put on the website
• Liaising with the past Yatris, other individuals, and institutions in our network to gather
remaining collaterals
• Structuring the ‘media bank’ on the JEN website

Candidate Profile:
We are preferably looking for candidates based in Mumbai. The location of internship will be
Mumbai.

The suitable candidate needs to be skilled in computing environment, management skills, and
presentation of the knowledge in lucid manner, as required. You will apply your expertise to
operate on at grassroots levels. Your work may require co-ordinating with a group of Yatris who
have travelled in the journey, and the wider network being created for the journey. You will be
required to report to Director Programming, Tata Jagriti Yatra

The Person:
• Clear approach to structuring the collateral and categorising
• Ability to liaise with other people in Jagriti network
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines/targets
• IT literate

Remuneration:
All the work related expenses – travel, food and accommodation – will be borne by Jagriti. A
nominal remuneration can be given, the details of which is to be provided after discussion with the
candidate.
