Corporate Benefits Manager
Independent contract position reporting to the Sr. Director of HR and Benefits,
manage escalated issues related to health and welfare and retirement benefits fo
r US based employees by coordinating with vendors and field HR Managers.
* Act point of contact for all Health and Welfare providers and field HR manager
s to resolve procedural inconsistencies within benefit plans and establish more
efficient processes.
* Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to research and determine th
e validity of pension, 401(k) and 5500 data.
* Work with ADP management to resolve HRIS data issues that impact employee pay,
census and file feed transmittals as well as formulate ongoing strategies to im
prove end user support.
* Project manage, research, compile reports and work with applicable department
managers to consolidate newly acquired companies into the Cenveo benefit plans.
* Act as point person for all escalated benefit issues from employees, field HR
managers, Internal Revenue Service, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services a
nd state agencies.
* Review and update all SPD's and benefits related communications to ensure fede
ral and state regulatory compliance.

* Ensured benefits and in-house procedures complied with all local, state and fe
deral legal requirements through rigorous audit procedures that reduced reportin
g errors.
* Maintained and ensured the accuracy of eligibility, benefits enrollments, sala
ry increases, position changes and payroll deduction information for all benefit
plans in the HRIS system.
* Acted as a liaison between Health and Welfare providers and employees to resol
ve claims and contractual issues.
* Continually evaluated benefit plan designs and formulated solutions (clarifyin
g summary plan descriptions). Led meetings with benefits brokers and account man
agers to create solutions.
