Created the infrastructure to allow a successful migration from Unix and a NCR m
ainframe to client server systems (Novell) in support of a strategic initiative
to divide the company into four divisions. Supported 300 desktops, all cabling i
nfrastructure and external access to systems (Winframe-Citrix).
Created one of the first desktop migration plans that allowed
Windows to be centrally managed from a Novell server, migrated entire facility f
rom Token Ring to Ethernet, installed Novell and Microsoft servers, developed a
unique central IP strategy to connect all PC's to Unix systems, and transitioned
multiple systems and data due to acquisitions.
