Italian Room of the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Festivities will start
at 9 p.m .. During the evening Scholarship Awards will be made. The committee
is going all out to make this a big TEKE event. You'll want to attend! The
price is very modest • • • only $ 5,00 per couple. A return reservation envelope
is enchsed for your advance reservation. JOIN IN, you're sure to have a good

MOTHERS' CLUB CONTINUES TO BE TOPS

Not many fraternities can match the Teke Mothers' Club. They are not only
our staunch supporters but they are a big help. By themselves, they have con­
tributed many worthwhile additions to the furnishings and kitchen equipment,
Their most recent addition is an item that was very much needed - a vacuum
cleaner.

PERCE E. ALLEN 'IS, died at his Clearlake Highlands summer home on July 12.
1959. Perce had been retired two years from Tidewater Associated Oil Company
after 42 liz years of service. A t the time. of his retirement he was vice-president..
He is survived by his widow; Charlotte - 245 }·Aoncada Way, San Francisco.

Another sad note - Diane Oertel writes, "I d�eply regret to tell you that KEN
OERTEL '52, died April 3, 1959, in San Jose after a very brief illness of only two
weeksduration� U Ken at the time of his death. was a designer-engineer with IBM.
