. Management of a 165 employee team.
* Operations and capital budgeting for all processes, operations and maintenance
activities for a 125,000 BBLs / day Plant.
* General coordination of a bitumen treatment (dehydration and desalting) distil
lation unit.
* Coordination of batching transportation process through a 36" 240 mile pipelin
e which pumps various products from the production area to the marine terminal;
developed special quality control plans and operational procedures to complete t
he project.
* Coordination of loading oil tankers at the deep water terminal in the Caribbea
n Sea, which required developing a non-spill plan to avoid environmental impact.
Process/Operations Superintendent.
* Coordinated improvements of a petroleum refining plant, composed of three unit
s: dehydration, desalting, heating and column-stripping, as well as the utilitie
s (gas, air and water).
* Maximized the stripping column capacity in order to reduce refining costs and
maximized profits to the owner: reduced downtime during maintenance.
* Coordinated introduction of new equipment.
* Coordinated improvements of distillation tower, boilers, electrostatic separat

plant.
