AVG manufactures industrial visualization, position and PLC controls under the A
utotech, Uticor and EZAutomation product lines. Human Machine Interfaces, Logi
c Controllers, PLSs and IPCs represent the scope of the product line. All divisi
ons have applications with Packaging, Metal Stamping, Assembly, Printing and Con
verting OEMs. To develop new sales and insure AVG controls are requested on OEM
specifications was the primary task.
Focus:
* To increase AVG's market share through direct Autotech (position based control
s) sales to packaging and converting OEMs. In conjunction with AVG's engineering
staff and the assistance of the CEO, we were instrumental in bringing forth hig
h sales growth and new product development. We formed many alliances with other
control manufacturers and distributors as well as independent representatives.
* Worked closely with AVG's engineering and sales group to bring more company aw
areness for Uticor (HMIs, Marquess and PLCs) by assisting in a variety of new in
centives and training programs for distribution and marketing channels. As EZAut
omation formed, I assisted in all telemarketing and promotional activity.
* Worked closely with our engineering departments and began reporting directly t
o AVG's CEO on all activity related to new potential markets where AVG's overall
technology in (Electronic Contract Manufacturing, PCBs, and Controls) can best
be employed in third party applications, contract manufacturing or private label
ing.
Accomplishments:
* Achieved continuous sales growth with all product lines.
* Was Instrumental in facilitating along with close collaboration with enginee
ring four private labeling contracts
* Attained five product-licensing agreements with major PLC manufacturers
* Continually gathered effective marketing intelligence to assist in making soun
d business decisions
* Effectively and consistently made appointments for product demonstrations by i
dentifying decision makers
* Maintained customer and distribution loyalty in highly competitive business en
