Dual position working with the Colleges Sr. Director of Corporate Relations and
with the 501(c)(3) Foundations Sr. Director of Development on annual and corpora
te fundraising efforts as they related to the entire organization. Maintained po
sitive and productive working relationships with a cross section of the public,
including corporate supporters, ACR members and their patients, volunteer commit
tees, vendors, and staff.
ACR Research and Education Foundation Development
Administration of REF special events, such as the 5K Run/Walk. Responsible for
the selection of vendors, coordination of on-site logistics, and producing all
promotional activities.
Responsible for the creation and management of logistics and collateral materia
ls for the Donors Lounge at the Annual Scientific Meeting.
Participated in the branding of a major gift initiative and provided support wh
ich included tracking visits and creating/issuing follow-up correspondence.
Creation and coordination of annual campaign mailings, including prospect donor
correspondence.
Administration of annual gifts which included coordination of gift substantiati
on letters in accordance with IRS regulations, managing monthly pledge reminders
and delinquencies, ensuring appropriate accounting procedures were followed for
recording annual gifts, and providing appropriate reports on donation histories
of annual donors.
American College of Rheumatology Corporate Relations
Processed contracts and invoices for Industry Roundtable (pharmaceutical indust
ry sponsorship) members.
Coordinated and processed industry supporter agreements (letters of agreement a
nd ACCME guidelines).
Issued invoices, tracked grant income, and followed-up on outstanding payments.
Developed annual industry supporter fulfillment reports.
Responsible for coordinating industry-supported symposia, managing third-party
mailer requests, approving third-party events, and ensuring that supporter benef
its were fulfilled when held in conjunction with ACR meetings. Additional activi
ties included preparing and ordering relevant signage, acknowledgements, and any
other collateral materials.
