*Provided engineering consulting services for the investigation of the main 138k
V upgrades proposed for the Ford Motor Co - Lima Engine Plant. Provided base de
sign plan adopted by the facility for the new substation installed in 2001. Par
ticipated in a joint effort with Ford Corporate staff to join the design and ins
tallation project team. ).
*Provided engineering services during the installation phase of two 2000kVA tran
sformers in substation #6 and #12 at Atlas Crankshaft. Primary responsibilities
involved installation and as-built drawings as well as assistance in co-ordinat
ion of the skilled tradesmen.

Ford Motor Company Lima, Ohio


Facilities Electrical Engineer 1987-1999
*Project manager for the replacement of 36 PCB transformers and 40 PCB power fac
tor correction capacitors for the plant's low voltage power distribution system,
refurbishment of 22 medium voltage power distribution circuit breakers and 250
low voltage power distribution circuit breakers. Responsibilities included budg
eting, review of specifications and designs, task scheduling and co-ordination o
f contractor and plant personnel.
*Reviewed and revitalized a dormant preventative maintenance program with the as
sistance of D. L. Steiner Inc. Responsibilities for overseeing the program inclu
ded procurement of funds, co-ordination of outage schedules and skilled trades a
nd contractor personnel for the duration of the program.
*Provided engineering services during the installation of the wastewater treatme
nt control system, the building addition for the CAFE/Ranger programs and the in
stallation of a broadband LAN at the facility and its subsequent Ethernet replac
ement at the plant. Responsibilities included review of system design, as well
as programming, commissioning and debugging of the PLC based control system.
