Facilities Superintendent 2006-Present
- Organize, execute, and manage all phases of youth and adult sports progr
ams, such as baseball, softball, t-ball, soccer, basketball, flag football, coed
volleyball, women’s volleyball, 35 and over men’s basketball and coed softball; facilit
ate the scheduling of games; and prospect and organize schedules of volunteer co
aches, umpires, referees, and statisticians.
- Collaborate with coaches and community groups to update and modify any r
ules for leagues.
- Work closely with other leagues utilizing the facilities, including Men’s Sl
ow Pitch Softball, Men and Women’s Fast Pitch Softball, Men’s Basketball, Legion Basebal
l, and local traveling youth baseball and softball teams.
- Train, schedule and supervise building supervisors; Provide repair and c
leaning request and recommendations to the Maintenance Superintendent.
- Support the Maintenance Department, as necessary, in formulating recomme
ndation to the director and maintenance superintendent.

Camp Director 2000-2006
- Arranged and executed 7 weeks of youth camp consist of up to 250 campers
weekly.
- Held responsible for developing and implementing the budget, all marketi
ng, risk management, staff and camper records.
- Oversaw all program areas which included Pool, Nature, Crafts, Recreatio
nal Sports, Horseback Riding, Counselor in Training, and low ropes course.
- Managed the entire Maintenance department and the Dining Hall.
- Collaborated with the Board of Directors in all areas of Camp including
Buildings & Grounds, Marketing, Budget, Program, and Personnel
- Involved the U of I College of Aces in seeking Donations which increased
more than $60,000 in the first 2 years.
- Generated about 11,000 youth and adults annually by recruiting and maint
aining rental groups from April through November.
- Successfully brought the camp up to code to meet and exceed the American
Camping Association standards and accreditation.
