• Revenue Generation – Yielded over 150 students annually from my “territory” generating average
yearly tuition revenue of $4.2 million for the institution.
• Program Development – Revamped and managed our class visit program for admitted students
called Shadow SCU, implementing a tandem current student volunteer program called VIPS. Over
70% of the students visiting through this program ultimately enroll at SCU.
• Market Penetration – As the Midwest territory manager for Santa Clara University, increased
enrollment applications by an unprecedented 17% over 3 years.
• Effective Marketing – Designed and pitched a new “admit packet” to key representatives of the
university, which resulted in unanimous support of a completely revamped, ground-breaking 20 page

Santa Clara University, Undergraduate Admission Office 2006 – Present


Assistant Director
• Create an annual regional strategic plan to foster better relationships and enhance communication
with prospective students, families and high school counselors from designated territories to improve
the quality of those students recruited.
• Oversee one of our highest yielding campus visit programs, ShadowSCU. Manage 40 student
volunteers and train, coach and develop student lead and one administrative assistant for the
ShadowSCU visit program.
• Lead all social media initiatives including planning and execution. Manage one peer and one student
assistant. Successfully executed “Operation Heart” which caused Facebook “likes” to double in one
week.
• Served as a representative of the Undergraduate Admission Office for a university-wide “Admitted
Student Taskforce,” where I provide updates on our admission cycle and work with individuals from
all departments on-campus.
• Served as a liaison between our department and the Office of Alumni Relations and Office of
Marketing and Communications.
• Served as project manager for the Admitted Student Packet, managed a team of 14 representatives
from different departments around campus. This packet evolved into a 20 page color brochure that I
worked with the Office of Marketing and Communications to develop aesthetically.
• Planned and coordinated one of the year’s largest prospective student events, Open House, in Fall
2006. Communicated with several departments on-campus to ensure a successful execution and
outcome of the event. Managed a group of 10 colleagues and 40 student workers and allocate their
preparation duties and day-of responsibilities.
• Planned, coordinated and managed 13 off-campus yield receptions all over the country, for admitted
students from the incoming class of 2012. Improved upon previous years by revamping the schedule
of events and coordinating with the Alumni Office for support. Gave special attention to a high
profile reception in Pasadena at the residence of SCU Alumni Andy Ackerman ’78.Within two years,
generated nearly $5 million in business revenue.

Assistant to A.D. of Technical Services
• Served as the “acting” Assistant Director of Technical Services for a one month period after first
being hired as a student worker, while boss vacationed & reported to the Assistant Vice President of
Enrollment Management.
• Created and ran reports for upper-management using PeopleSoft to run queries for the data. Analyzed
numbers and accuracy of reports, and learned what the numbers represent.
• Created and managed reports through a business-intelligence tool called COGNOS.
• Provided software and hardware support and training for a diverse staff.
• Updated the FAO website including all updates, new designs, and/or new pages. Created Flash
presentations for the website and for mass distribution via email to the student body.
• Matched databases using Access for any reconciliation processes.
• Created several reports in Excel using pivot tables for upper management.
