Objectives
To find a challenging position where I can use my strengths which include: an ab
ility to motivate and work well with all types of people with very low turnover,
adapt to any situation, a great amount of drive, experience in managing operati
ons and also multi-tasking. I would like to cut costs in an operation with engin
eering principles and lean design. I would like to eliminate non-value added wor
k and focus on the most cost efficient way to accomplish the product that the cu
stomer is asking for. I am proficient in several computer programs including Exc
el, Word, Power Point, MS Project, AS400 system, I-Track, Mappoint, Lotus Notes

Coordinated pickup/delivery assignments, strategized and coordinated loading pro
cess. Managed the evening operation. Coordinated three evening shuttles. My opti
mization of the dock and its workers lowered labor by 7% in 2 quarters.

Position: Service Manager (Package handler from Aug. '02-May '03)
Looking at more efficient ways of route planning and discovered more efficient
ways of operating. Managed safety. Supervised the pre-load operation and ran th
e outbound operation. Set up the dock to provide the most lean system. I also r
e-engineered the setup of the dock for optimal results in July 2005. This re-eng
ineering of the dock cut off one hour of run time per day on the preload operati
on and reduced the necessity of employees from 21 to 17 to run the operation. Th
is saved the company thousands of dollars. Supervising package handler employees
in the loading of their trucks. Also supervised and dispatched the 31 drivers.
Hired, interviewed and orientate new employees. Dealt with financial aspects and
also engineering. Cost cutting and eliminating non-value added tasks.

I passed the EMCI Certification test for Engineering Managers and am EMCI certif
