As an Engineering Technician in the local area and working as a field technician
, project inspector and field supervisor, on major projects thought the area and
varied locations in Texas and Louisiana. With my experience, may be of great va
lue to you and your organization, have worked on at multiple CoE projects, Was
te Water processing plants projects, airport projects, highway and bridge proje
ct while working for TxDOT. Other projects include industrial plants, municipal
and privet building projects.
For the past 2 years I have been employed as the QA manager for Fugro Consulting
, Inc. At the Motiva, CEP (Crude Expansion Project in Port Arthur, Texas. Before
this project I was employed as the QA/QC Manager for ShawCor Pipe Protection at
the Beaumont Concrete coating plant, SAIC (Science Applications International C
orporation), lead technician at the Chevron/Texaco plant remediation project in
Port Arthur, Texas Field QA manager and Field Lab Manager for the Corps of Engin
eers Neches River Salt Water Barrier project in Beaumont, Texas with Zachry Cons
truction, Other CoE projects included the Fishing levees for Sabine lake, Pleasu
re Island Wave Barrier levee projects, Star Lake Pump Station as a field technic
ian for soils and concrete testing. In addition I have worked at Fort Poke, LA a
s a field technician for the Live Fire project with Hercules Engineering and Tes
ting of Houston, TX.

JOB-RELATED KNOLEDGE:
Worked as an Engineering Technician, I have wide range of experience working con
struction projects. Beginning work as an x-ray technicians helper, using radioac
tive sources and UT equipment and continuing to achieve NICET (National Institut
e of Certification Technicians) level IV certifications in Soils, Concrete, Asph
alt and Highway Construction Materials.
During this time I received training as a drillers helper and logged on subsurfa
ce investigation drilling rigs, for major projects. My training included the uti
lization of both in lab and field-testing equipment. Training included the ident
ification, physical properties, and testing procedures for construction material
s from the subsurface soils investigation to the built-up roof decks of building
s.
As a Senior Engineering Technician, in the Construction Material Testing (CMT) f
ield, with the opportunity to work construction projects from the original subsu
rface investigation logging, inspection and testing materials of materials used
in a verity of foundations types, masonry structures, blown on fire
proofing and built-up roof decks installations. I have been charged with perform
ing in-lab, field materials sampling, testing and investigation of soils, concre
te, asphalt concrete, masonry and fire proofing materials. Responsible for inspe
cting and testing a verity of materials, preparing material for testing, testing
materials IAW the required test specifications, preparing reports and auditing
completed reports, training and auditing technicians and report documentation.
My involved in local FAA, EPA, DOE, TxDOT, Corps of Engineers, industrial and co
mmercial projects, provided me a wide range of testing and inspection criteria a
nd experience. With duties included, but not limited to, project investigation,
materials sampling and testing, progress reports, in-lab and field supervision o
f technicians and documentation of inspection and test results. Each organizatio
n having its own set of requirement for investigative, testing and reporting pro
cedures that were unique to their organization.
Before working as an Engineering Technician, included working as a plumbers help
er, under a licensed plumber as well as other verse jobs.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Knowledge of Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point and willing to learn other s
ystems.
EDUCATION:
After graduating from Bishop Byrne High School, Port Arthur, Texas. I enlisted i
n the U.S. Air Force the same year. While in the Air Force, my training include
specialty field as Material Facility Specialist (Supplies), Still Photo Lab Spec
ialist (Base Photographer) and Maintenance Management along with other training
before receiving an Honorable Discharge.
I have completed 19 hours toward the Civil Engineering, Core Program at Lamar Un
iversity and completing the basic AutoCAD course at Lamar Technical School.
I have earned NICET level IV certifications in Soils, Concrete, Asphalt and High
way Construction Materials and NICET level II in Construction and Laboratory Tes
ting.
I qualify in any ACI position as specified under ASTM E329, 6.2.4 and ASTM C1077
, 6.1.2, 6.1.3, 6.1.4, 6.1.5 and 6.1.6.
