skilled in frame selection, lens styling and measurement as well as
adjustment , and dispensing of eyeglasses. I can train insertion and removal of
both soft and gas permeable contact lenses. I have experience in front office wo

02/07-06/09 Site for Sore Eyes
Dispensing Optician. On the floor handles all frame and lens styling, measureme
nt and verification of eyeglass orders, tracking in computer and checking on del
ays. Dispense and adjust all eyewear. Train all contact lens patients in inserti
on, removal and care of soft and gas permeable contact lenses. Schedule appointm
ents and prepare charts for patients. Open and close office, verify all cash, re
ceipts, credit cards and balance at end of day.
08/06-02/07 Dr. Slater
Lead optician. Handled frame styling, lens selection, measurement and verificati
on. Met with frame sales representatives and implemented board management system
to increase frame turnover and decrease excessive inventory and returns. Design
ated "troubleshooter" for those patients having difficulties adjusting to progre

08/04-11/04 Sunnyvale Optometric Center

I performed frame selections, dispensed eyeglasses and contact lenses and did al
l pre-testing. I verified orders, met with frame representatives and managed the
frame board. In addition, I prepared charts, answered phones and did monthly bi
lling and buying group reconciliation. I trained contact lens patients and disc
ussed appropriate solutions. I ordered VSP jobs over the internet and insurance
billed for Davis, MES and Medicare.
08/03-07/04 Precision Eye Care Centers
On a daily basis, I performed frame and lens selections and dispensed eyeglasses
and contact lenses. I trained all contact lens patients. I handled pre-testing,
verified finished orders, answered phones, scheduled appointments and prepared
charts. I entered and billed VSP orders and billed other insurance companies.

I performed lens and frame selection to primarily Medi-cal patients. I dispensed
both glasses and contact lenses. I filled out orders and verified eyeglasses. I

rame salesman and managed the frame board.
