Casualty Claims Adjuster
Currently, I am training to become a casualty claims adjuster. In this
role, I will build, evaluate, negotiate, and settle bodily injury
claims with plaintiff's attorney placing bodily injury claims in
against negligent parties. This includes claims both in suit and those
not yet brought to suit. In addition to this workload, I am still
responsible for the tasks with which I have been completing on a daily
basis since my employment began.
This included working in direct contact with the actual participants of
an auto accident. I investigate liability and negotiate damage
settlements by obtaining official statements by all participants,
reviewing police reports and other expert reports. I analyze accident
scenes and points of impacts on vehicles to differentiate the differing
loss facts gathered. Process are in place to provide fair settlements
or claim resolutions, customer satisfaction and excellent cost
management for the company. When applicable, I am also responsible to
prepare the claim for subrogation to hopefully, bring the claim to an
amicable conclusion for all parties.

In this capacity, I work closely with management to train each new hire
for the tasks required of them at this high-paced sports bar. In this
environment, I have found that the best tool for teaching is to lead by
