As the Construction Administrator, I worked closely with Jerry Hills S.D. Mgr. o
f Const. and URS Construction Manager to complete the procurement, construction
and commissioning work for Heroes Elementary School.
* Implemented the C.H.P.S. program for High Performance Design and Construction
obtaining an additional $350,000 in state funds by using 30% recycled materials
throughout the buildings and received the Green Apple Award in 2007.
* Managed, monitored and controlled the scope, schedule and budget in order to e
nsure project success and deliver the project on time and within budget. Process
ed payment requests, RFIs, change orders, submittals, correspondences, emails; w
hile keeping key stakeholders informed of the construction progress.

As the in-house Architect, I was responsible for providing and supervising desig
n services for minor and major capital projects for existing and new facilities
at Fontana and Riverside Medical Centers from the programming phase to project c
ompletion. The largest project was the Outpatient Medical Facility at Fontana; w
hich was a multi-prime contract with a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The first phase
was to build a 1,800 car parking structure. The second phase was to build the 3
00,000 s.f. Medical Office Building and the final phase was to connect the build
ing to the parking structure with a 3 story pedestrian bridge. Additional infor

* Coordinated and planned the funding and design of new and existing facilities.
* Acted as the liaison between the medical center staff and the outside consulti
ng Architects, Engineers, Contractors, & State Agencies.
* Assisted in the development of the Master Plans for both Medical Centers and i
