I began my career in 1980 as an Office Assistant (clerical not listed), acquiring a number of skills including typing, computer experience, organization and time management as I was responsible for providing clerical support to four Disability examiners which also included fili ng and scheduling of transportation and a variety of consultative examinations f or claimants. Following my multiple promotions toward the management level I acquired extensive experience in time management, meeting deadlines, analysis and analytical writing. In addition I gained valuable experi ence in supervision and leadership along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Volunteer Experience One of my passions is the sport of track and field. Since 1 980 I served as either an assistant or head track and field coach at John F. Kennedy (assistant then head coach in 1988), Valley, and Laguna Creek High Schools. I have served as a volunteer for the 2000 and 2004 United States Olympic Trials for Track and Field and also worked as a volunteer for the 2003, 2005 and 2006 NCAA Track and Field Championships. Finally, I am privileged to serve my church as a member of our worship team and as a Sunday school teacher.
