turning around underperforming business unit. Recruited by education testing-pub
lishing company to provide renewed strategic direction for struggling 13 state r
egion who were losing customer contracts and client satisfaction. Conducted full
business evaluation, initiated customer focus groups documenting customer requi
rements and improving cross-functional team performance.
Business/Program Development: Led international business development integrating
Occupational Health and Safety with Quality Management Systems. Published a boo
k with Wiley & Sons. Networked with domestic Account Executives marketing to U.S
. multi-nationals such as IBM, and Seagate, producing $3.5M to $4M in annual con
sulting services revenues in over 20 countries through our 12 global offices. Re
presented Liberty International on the Conference Boardas International OH&S com
mittee.
Start-up: Co-founded and led consulting startup to $7.5M in annual revenue, achi
eving profits and positive cash flow our first year, opened offices in three sta
tes, and landed contracts with ATT, and RTC, allowing us to go public through re
verse acquisition our fourth year.
Initiated Organizational Transformation Process & Co-Led Occupational Health & S
afety (OHS) Program. Led 13,000-person organization development - business trans
formation process. Established implementation teams representing all departments
and trades resulting in reduced costs, improved quality, job satisfaction, and
labor-management relations. Co-developed the shipyards and headquartersa first O
HS Offices and procedure manuals reducing workers compensation claims by up to 4
5% in some shops. Trained over a 1,000 managers. Launched a Quality Management s
ystem. Gained approval for pilot Pay for Performance system.
