*Managed a Team of 7 resources to implement a $4.2M Web based electronic parcels
tracking and tracing systems -(Eviper) including integration with Motorola MC75
HHT device for realtime communication with Service Crews . The system is used t
rack Cash Collection and Deliveries to all Financial Institution branches and AT
M - RBC, BMO, TD, BNS and CIBC.
*Created project plan outlining the task activities and timelines required for s
uccessful implementation and roll-out of the systems across all Canadian 26 bran
ches using aggressive Agile methodologies for the implementation.
*Planned Infrastructure Hardware and Software setup for branches as required for
system implementation including DSL Internet Services, LAN Cabling and Power so
ckets. Electrical, Cabling, Shelving and Network installation..
*Documented the System functionality required in the new upgraded version includ
ing System diagrams, Process diagrams using Rational RUP notation.
*Ensured that the required data information for FIs Branches, ABM and Cash proce
ssing are uploading into the new system as well as customer information for trac
king parcels
*Developed Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Failover plan for the system and e
nsured that the BCP process is well understood by all branches.
*Introduce ITIL/ITSM best practices for service management to all branches acros
s Canada and ensured SLA/OLAs are adhered to as stipulated within the new system
.
*Tracked project budget allocation on a quarterly basis and reported project sta
tus on cost variance, schedule variance slippage to project board monthly as wel
l as forecast cost to project completion
*Escalated issues to the business sponsors and ensured that there is a common un
derstanding of the issue as well as the resolution. Unresolved issues were escal
ated to the Executive Steering Committee for decisions.
*Carried out Post-implementation review and updated all documentations in the Pr
oject Information Library as well as communicated the project closure to the sta
keholders.
*Managed in all phase of the project including day-to-day project development ac
tivities, Task assignment, change control, incident management and problem resol
ution as well as provided continuous process improvement e.g Release Management
and Change Management.
