Chicago Pedestrian Plan - Public Meetings
I received the following announcement from Marisa Navaro, of the
Metropolitan Planning Council.
This summer the Chicago Department of Transportation is holding a series
of public meetings to help inform the development of the Chicago
Pedestrian Plan. This Plan is a citywide effort to identify strategies for
making Chicago the most pedestrian-friendly city in the country.
There will be seven meetings throughout the summer and a final online
meeting for those who cannot make it in-person. The attached flyer
includes the dates and locations of these meetings. Please distribute this
widely and encourage your residents, members, partners and other
interested parties to attend. Our efforts in the development of the
Pedestrian Plan depend on the input, ideas, and experiences of our
communities.
