HOW TO REGISTER AT NIITSTUDENT

NIITStudent.com is an online learning portal where the students can learn at their own pace, place, and
at their convenience. The NIITStudent team is a powerful combination of experienced people who are
experts in career education and technical subjects. To map the requirements of the industry and
customers, certain simple conceptual / parallel technologies have been included as self-study material in
the form of CBTs. This is also to help students inculcate the habit of eLearning.

Additionally, various online services will be available through TechEdge (on Internet only) to support
students with their learning. These services include Latest Tech News in NIITStudent’s TechRag,
TechArticles through First Access, the Global Discussion Forum, Experts Answer, mock Practice Tests
at Module Test Prep Zone on semester mapped modules. In order to access these services, the student
will be required to register on NIITStudent.com/India.
NIITStudent.Com is best accessed using:
• Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000
• Netscape Navigator 4.5+ or
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0+
• Pentium Class 100Mhz or Faster, with 16 MB Ram (32 MB for Optimal Playback)
• Minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600 with 256 colors or more 28.8 Baud modem or faster
• Audio device, installed & configured
• Macromedia Flash Player 5+

 Invoke www.NIITStudent.com/India using Internet Explorer.

 Your registration details uniquely identifies you as an NIIT student. So, it is important for you to
enter the correct Student Id, Registration Number and center details. This will enable NIITStudent
to offer more personalized services in the future

 This screen is the logged-in user’s home page.

Now Enter the Magic Key pasted on your CD and activate special Tech-Services for your NIITStudent
account by clicking on the Update Magic Key gif on My Page.

Enter the Magic Key in the appropriate text box. This will activate the customized Module Test Prep Zone for you.
