1. Objective of the Project : E-Swasthya is providing a plethora of basic and statutory medical and health services to around 1.2 million population of the district gadchiroli. Keeping in view the high growth rate, increasing demands and expectations of the community, this project was designed with the following objectives.

b. Turnkey project of Innovative use of PDA (Windows

Situation before the initiative :
District Gadchiroli is situated at the east and extreme end of the

maharashtra state and is well known for dence forest, beautiful hills and rivers. However now a days the district came into limelight because of naxal activities. Gondia district is situated on the north side towards east shares borders of Rajnandgaon Baster District of chattisgad state; towards south it shares borders of karimnagar, adilabad district of andra pradesh. All this Neighboring district are Naxal affected. Gadchiroli is tribal district it mainly includes gond, pardhan, madia, rajgond tribes. The Total Population of Gadchiroli District is 11.03 lakh and tribal population is 3.72 lakh i.e. 38.35%. Maharashtra is the leading state in India, all districts of Maharashtra are developed and looking forward to adopt the new technology for development but Gadchiroli district is exceptional case in Maharashtra. It is surrounded by dense forest and also attached the border two states Chattisgad and Andra Pradesh and highly effected by Naxalites activities like extortion, bombing on police camps, fire on schools, PHC and killing of innocents Adiwasi people. Due to this, development work is continuously held up from Naxalites activities.

With all the odd situation of health in district gadchiroli, Mr. Atul Patne, I.A.S. had been joined as a District Collector, Gadchiroli and immediately district administration reviewed the complete health department and he found the very much lacuna in the system about the data collection from health related activities and emergency health services was not work properly. So, district administration decided to take bold decision to provide health services to needy victims at door-step. Under this plan, district administration made innovative schemes in Human development Committee, Aurangabad run by Maharashtra govt.

District administration is provided 21 ambulances under the innovative scheme of Human development committee. o Ambulances are well equipped by health measures o Installed and commissioned VHF-GPS (Very System) High on Frequency-Geographical Positioning

o Turnkey project of Innovative uses of PDA (Windows Mobile) for data collection with help of Smart Card identity number
For reducing the rate of IMR, MMR and increasing the institutional deliveries and providing instant health services, the district administration started most innovative project in gadchiroli and first time in India. Basic concept behind this project, gadchiroli area is too large and surrounded by dense forest and with Naxalites activities, the data collection of ICDS children and ANC women from village to village were not easy task for ICDS supervisors and Health supervisors. If they got the data, but for report analysis they were taken so much time, within this period, they could not provide the health services to weaker children and any critical pregnant women timely and also higher officers are not aware of these things for taking immediate action against concern staff. Implementing steps: 1) Data Collection of ICDS children and ANC women from Dhanora, Kurkheda with the help ICDS supervisor and health supervisor and with their photographs. 2) Developed the customize software for reader and writer of ICDS and ANC women smart card. 3) Developed web portal www.dhanankur.org for accessing the complete data ICDS children and ANC women.
4) 17000No Smart card has prepared and distributed to the 0 to 6 year old ICDS children through ICDS supervisors. Every 0 to 6 year old child having their own unique identity number which is starting by 100001. If you swap the card on reader, the complete data of unique id number has displayed on ICDS customized software which has been installed at C.D.P.O. centers at each taluka. We have given the training to ICDS supervisors and health supervisor for operating software of smart card reading and writing.

With discussion with district collector and other higher officers, we have decided the survey schedule of 0 to 6 year old ICDS children and ANC women. change the grading pattern Normal grade Aati Kuposhit Aati Triv Kuposhit. Now central govt.
As per grading pattern For normal grade Survey will be 1 time in a month For Aati Kuposhit Survey will be 2 times in month For Aati Triv Kuposhit Survey will be 4 times in month As per the schedule, ICDS supervisors collect the data of children with their card id, they entered the age, height and weight, PDA application automatically selected the grade of the child and send to the centralized server for report generation. Server is taking the data from PDA and migrates into database server and generates the reports into SMS format for sending total summery of grade wise icds children and ANC women vaccination schedule or critical information through SMS on mobile and also generates various report like progress bar chart on web portal, summary

Mobile dental and eye diagnostic van provides the facility as under:
a) Under the scheme of Human development mission, district administration has provided the individual Mobile Dental and Eye diagnostic van at Taluka Dhanora and Kurkheda. b) In mobile dental and eye unit, having team of doctors and nurses has appointed. c) Well equipped lab for Eye and dental instruments. d) Compulsory visit to gram Panchayat daily at least two for check-up and treatment e) Facilities has been provided 1) Dental check-up and treatment 2) X-rey 3) Blood group check-up 4) Hemoglobin, Blood pressure, E.C.G. test 5) Adolescent girl, ICDS Aati Triv Kuposhit children, primary school students, pregnant women for health check-up camps are arranged. 6) After checkp-up reports, medicine is also provided to patients.

o Blood Donor Information System through SMS :

District administration develops following two systems for the citizens of Gadchiroli which is very helpful for providing instant health services to victims of any accident, requirement of blood and eye. Blood Donor Information System through Mobile SMS Registration of Blood and Eye Donor through Mobile SMS
Blood Donor Information System: This system is completely web based

customized solutions and integrated with SMS gate-way server. Up till now we have collected database of blood donors more than 1500 of various blood groups and it is randomly selection process in web based software. Whenever anybody send the SMS for blood that time web based software select the three numbers randomly and send reply to request mobile number.
