Notes on avoiding damage to ignition system Disconnect brake booster vacuum line (11) on intake manifold Remove air filter housing Unscrew bolts (2, 3) and remove intake manifold support Unscrew bolt (5) and remove bracket (4) Remove electrical connector (7) and electrical connector (8) Remove ignition cables (9, 10) from the ignition i Installation: Secure the ignition cable (9) coil for cylinders 1+2 (T1/1) and the ignition coil for cylinders 1 and 3 to the cylinder head cover, for cylinders 3+4 (T1/2) position "a" (arrow), and plug into connection "a" of the ignition coil for cylinders 1+2 (T1/1) and the ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T1/2). Secure the ignition cable (10) for cylinders 2 and 4 at the cylinder head cover, position "b" (arrow), and plug into connection "b" of the ignition coil for cylinders 1+2 (T1/1) and the ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T1/2). Unscrew bolts (6) and remove the ignition coil n for cylinders 1+2 (T1/1) and the ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T1/2) n Install in the reverse order n
