en het Octrooicentrum te machtigden om inlichtingen in te winnen bij de bevoegde buitenlandse autoriteiten over de landen waarin en de tijdstippen waarop een octrooiaanvrage voor dezelfde uitvinding is gedaan en over de daartegen aangevoerde bezwaren van welke aard ook; de benodigde stukken in orde te maken, te ondertekenen en in te dienen en zo nodig te verbeteren, te splitsen, aan te vullen of in te trekken; daarvoor opgeroepen te verschijnen waar dat nodig blijkt te zijn; in beroep te komen door indiening van grieven als tot (gedeeltelijke) niet-openbaarmaking van de aanvrage is besloten of als het aangevraagde octrooi niet, gedeeltelijk of in gewijzigde vorm is verleend; verzoekschriften, bezwaarschriften en memories van grieven te beantwoorden of te behandelen, alsmede procedures te voeren ingevolge de Algemene wet bestuursrecht; alle betalingen te doen die ingevolge de octrooiwetgeving van de ondergetekende(n) gevorderd kunnen worden; van het Octrooicentrum alle stukken in ontvangst te nemen die voor ondergetekende(n) bestemd zijn; kortom: alles te doen wat de ondergetekende(n) zelf had(den) kunnen, mogen of moeten doen in verband met de onderhavige aanvrage, zulks met macht van substitutie en met behoud van betaling ** van kosten en honorarium en waarbij de aansprakelijkheid van gemachtigden beperkt is tot het bedrag dat in betreffend geval door hun beroepsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering wordt uitbetaald. Alle eventuele eerdere volmachten voor deze zaak worden hierbij ingetrokken. Op deze volmacht is Nederlands recht van toepassing.

and to authorize the Patent Office to make inquiries with the competent foreign authorities as to the countries in which and the time at which a patent application for the same invention has been made, and also as to the objections raised against it of any nature whatever; to prepare, to sign and to file, if necessary to amend, to divide off, to complete or to withdraw the necessary documents; if summoned to appear where this will prove to be necessary to appeal by filing a notice of grievances when it has been determined that the entire application or part of it shall not be published, or when the patent applied for has not been granted at all, in part or in modified form; to answer petitions, notices of opposition and notices of grievances filed by third parties, also to conduct proceedings based upon the Algemene wet bestuursrecht; further to make all payments which under the patent legislation might be demanded from the undersigned and to receive from the Patent Office all documents destined for the undersigned, in short to do all that the undersigned could, might or must do with regard to the subject application, such with the power of substitution and on condition of payment ** of costs and fees and accepting that the liability of attorneys will always be limited to the amount which is made payable under their professional liability policy in the matter concerned. All possible previous powers of attorney in this case are herewith withdrawn. With regard to this power Dutch law is applicable.
