Work Experience
Bunduq Limited Company, U.A.E.
Geologist July 2008 Present Bunduq Company is small organization so I have to do several jobs at the same time which was good for me to learn and get more experience. Operation geologist: During the drilling operation I have to: Supervise the mudlogging and LWD units. Describe ditch cutting samples, core ships and oil shows. Detect Formation tops, casing points and coring points. Sending daily geological reports to the office. Update the geological cross section according to actual drilling information. Using offset electric logs and / or drilling parameters for correlation. Geosteer horizontal wells using real time LWD.

Geologist: After drilling operation I have to: Perform the final well reports. QC the logs and volumetric calculations. Import the final geological data into the geological model. Follow up geological model update (if needed). Prepare reports requested by government. Prepare geology related service contracts Start preparation for next drilling campaign (Preliminary 3D Seismic interpretation, prepare appraisal reports, geological cross sections, correlation panels, geological maps, expected formation tops, logging program, etc..).

Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO), Egypt.

Gupco is one of the biggest oil companies in Egypt, I employed for almost 6 years, where I learned several things as I have worked in several departments. Exploration Geologist July 2007 July 2008 o 3D Seismic interpretation for new prospects. o Construct geological cross-sections and correlation panels. o Construct geological maps Petrographer & Sedimentologist July 2003 July 2007 o Prepare the geological studies and follow up both exploratory and development wells. o Responsible for detailed description of ditch cuttings and full microscopic examination of the thinsections to evaluate the reservoir characteristics of both exploratory and development wells. o Evaluate oil shows and detect the oil migration pathways. o Construct different types of maps isopach, structural, and sand distribution maps using the third party applications and identify the depositional environments. o Detailed core description. o Perform the field geological works related to outcrops include stratigraphic and structural studies. o Prepare the final geological reports . Petrophysist May 2003 - July 2003 o Responsible for interpretation of different types of electric logs. o Detect the reservoir quality using the electric logs. o Detect the environmental significance of the logs curves. Wellsite Geologist November 2002 - May 2003 o Describe the ditch cuttings and core samples. o Detect the formation tops, casing points and core points. o Update the geological cross-section and the geological map. o Correlate the current wells with the offset wells using the electrical logs.

National Research Institute of Astronomy & Geophysics (NRIAG)

NRIAG is a famous scientific institute in Egypt, responsible for astronomy & geophysical researches. Assistant Researcher April 2000 November 2002 o Measure the magnetic field components. o Update the magnetic maps. o Interpret the aeromagnetic maps. o Still entrusted in Helwan University to tutor the faculty students. o Start the studying of master degree in geology.

Helwan University, Faculty of Science, Geology Department

Tutor September 1999 November. 2002 o Entrusted to teach different courses in Geology to the Faculty students. o Start studying the pre-master courses in geology followed by Master degree registration.
