To make it as easy as possible for you to make your armylist and to make it as easy as possible for us to check them, we ask players to use this file when making and sending in their armylist. When you send in your armylist using this file and when you bring a print out of your armylist that was made with this file to the tournament, then we guarentee that you will receive the 2 points for bringing an appropriate armylist! How does it work? Basically it is just a matter of filling in all the choises you made. As you can see on the right there is a box for each unit on your armylist:
When you use this box to type your armylist Excel will automatically do all calculations for you. It automatically calculates the cost of the entire unit, half the cost of the unit (convenient when calculating Victory Points after the battle) and in the top right corner next to the player information Excel calculates the point cost of your entire army. However, Excel can only perform these calculations correctly when you have entered all points values correctly, so read the following instructions carefully: - First go to the sheet called 'armylist player 1' and fill in the personal and team data at the top. - Then fill in the boxes. You can read below how to do this. - Unit name/Section This is where you fill in the name of the unit, 'Swordsmen' for example. Also fill in to which section this unit belongs to: Hero, Core, Special or Rare. - Statistics table This is where you fill in the gaming statistics of the models in the unit. In the boxes saying 'Troop type x' you fill in whose statistics it are. There can be more than one line of statistics in one unit, think of horses and their riders for example. - Troop type In the white cells under 'Troop type'you fill in the models that form the unit, 'Swordsmen' for example. Under '#' you fill in how many models of this troop type are in the unit. Under 'Pts' you fill in the point cost of an individual model of the troop type. - Equipment This is where you fill in all the equipment the unit already has and the equipment that is free. In the case of Swordsmen that would be 'Hand weapon, shield and light armour' for example. - Special rules Here you just list all the special rules that apply to the unit. Note that you only have to list them, not explain them! - Upgrades/ (magic)items Here you fill in all the upgrades, magic items, command models and basically anything that the unit has to pay points for. Under 'Upgrade/(magic)items' you fill in the name of the upgrade or item. Under '#' you fill in the amount of upgrades/items you buy for this unit. And under 'Pts' you fill in the point cost of the individual upgrade/item. Half points and Points Don't fill in anything here!! Don't however start messing around with the boxes themself!!! Note: In case you come across a unit that can't be filled in the boxes for whatever reason, contact us and we will send you a new box. If you still have any questions about this do not hesitate to contact us!
